Barter in Federal Way

Are you an avid crafter? Do you spend your weekends baking just for the love of it? Are you interested in seeing if your hobby could turn into a part-time gig? On Sunday June 28 from 1-3 PM the Federal Way City Hall will be hosting a Homemade Trade Event.

No matter if your Federal Way local movers just moved you into your new home or you’ve lived here for years, this event for crafters, bakers and DIYers is a great way to get involved in the community. The event is free of charge. Simply bring your homemade creations ready to be traded with others for their homemade goods. Items from previous trade events include bread, brownies, jams, pickles, herbs, jewelry, pillows, knitted scarves and gloves, artwork, stationery and much more!

The event itinerary allows you time to set up your items, walk-through to see the items that others have brought to share and then begin bartering with the other event attendees.

The first homemade trade event put on by the Homegrown Barter Community happened just this past March and had over 40 people involved.  Be a part of this great community event this summer!

Get started on your crafting and allow our Federal Way movers to handle the heavy lifting during your transition. Call us or fill out our online quote form for your free moving estimate today!
