Seattle Seahawks OTAs Shows Promise
To get prepared for the 2015 season, the Seattle Seahawks are sharpening their skills in this year’s Organized Team Activities (OTAs) before the start of the season. Following an elbow injury in the NFC Championship against the Green Bay Packers five months ago, Richard Sherman, the Seahawks’ cornerback, is able to practice again without limitations. He has participated in all OTAs without any brace, bandage or other protective elbow garment.
At the time of the injury, it was thought that Sherman would require offseason surgery for the elbow, which typically requires nine months of recovery. Opting to try rehabilitation instead, Sherman, along with the rest of the team, was thrilled to find tremendous success with his rehabilitation program. Just five months after the injury, Sherman says that he’s heading into the 2015 season “limitless.”
